Sega released a special 5-track compilation album titled ‘Sonic Sound Station Selection Vol. 1 today, August 28, 2020. The mini-album features tracks from Sonic games that released between 2001 and 2004, selected by series sound director Jun Senoue. You can listen to the compilation across various streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and other places.
This music compilation is part of Sega’s “Sonic 2020” initiative that is aimed to bring us info relating to Sonic the Hedgehog every month for the year. The “Sonic Sound Station Selection” is a mini-compilation album with select nostalgic tunes from the archives.
The first mini-compilation album features tracks from the 2001 and 2004 Sonic games. That being said, it was during a time that had many Game Boy Advance titles with excellent tracks.
