Now that the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is about to debut, merchandise based on it is beginning to appear. For example, the Sonic movie Build-a-Bear plush toy has been confirmed. Both the North American and European websites have listings for the toy.

There are multiple options for getting a Sonic movie Build-a-Bear plush. The basic stuffed animal, with no sound chip or accessories, is $29/£21.50. There is a Collector’s Gift set for $46/£33 that gives you Sonic, a Gold Ring, and a pair of shoes. There is also a $45.50/£33 gift set with sound, which comes with the stuffed toy, his shoes, and a chip with five phrases from the Sonic movie. Finally, the most expensive bundle is $53/£38.50 and gives you Sonic, the Gold Ring, the sneakers, and the sound chip with five catchphrases.

Here is a gallery looking at the different Sonic movie Build-a-Bear plush options. You can compare its design to the original version of the character and his updated design.

This is the second Build-a-Bear Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration. The first happened back in December 2016. People could get a full-size Sonic plush, complete with a Gold Ring accessory if someone bought the online-exclusive bundle. It was accompanied by a $15, premade stuffed Tails.

Sonic the Hedgehog will appear in theaters on February 14, 2020 in North America and March 27, 2020 in Japan. Other tie-ins include Teen Sonic and Baby Sonic appearing in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle on Android and Apple iOS devices.
