Sonic Mania Reaches 1 Million In Worldwide Sales

Since its release in August 2017, Sonic Mania has sold over 1 million units worldwide, Sega revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.

When Sonic Mania Plus was announced last month for the West during SXSW 2018 we didn’t see a Japanese announcement for a while, but it has been announced that Japan will also get the enhanced Sonic Mania featuring new characters Ray the FLying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo.

Sonic Mania Plus releases in Summer 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Those who own digital copies of Sonic Mania can get the new content via paid DLC.
