A blast from 2013 is coming back in 2015. Sega has announced Sonic Lost World, formerly only available on the Nintendo Wii U, will be coming to Windows PCs. A follow-up to Sonic Colors, Sonic Lost World also takes cues from Super Mario Galaxy by sending Sonic around circular worlds, as well as over-the-shoulder levels where Sonic is racing along tubes or through pipes.

Sega will update Sonic Lost World for PCs, adding widescreen presentation, high resolution graphics, achievements, cloud saves, and a leaderboard for levels. It also will support both gamepad and keyboard and mouse control schemes. The Nightmare DLC, originally offered with the Deadly Six version of the Nintendo Wii U game, will be immediately available and include a stage, boss, and Black Bomb power  inspired by NiGHTS into Dreams. The Nintendo-inspired DLC based on Yoshi’s Island and The Legend of Zelda will not be included.
