Blind Squirrel Games, the company that handled the Sonic Colors Ultimate remasters, announced that it is working on a patch for the Switch version of the game. Both ahead of and after launch, people reported issues. Specifically, some of the Sonic. Colors Ultimate glitches on the Switch are the sorts that could cause seizures. There’s no release date yet for the patch, but it is on the way.
Here’s Blind Squirrel Games’ statement. It also asked people to directly report any issues with the Switch version of Sonic Colors Ultimate, so it can better pin down the problematic glitches and fix them in a patch.

In addition, Sonic the Hedgehog Social Media Manager Katie “MiniKitty” Chrzanowski shared a similar message on Twitter. She also noted that some of the Sonic Colors Ultimate Switch glitches were caused by people playing the game in an emulator.

Sonic Colors Ultimate is available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC, and a Switch patch is on the way. It originally appeared on the Wii.
