SNK Playmore Is Changing Its Name To SNK Starting December 1, 2016

SNK Playmore Corporation, best known for The King of Fighters and other classics in Metal Slug and Samurai Showdown, has announced that they’re changing their name to SNK Corporation on December 1.

SNK Playmore says about the context of change that they’ve changed company logo and slogan back in April 25, 2016 with the goal of marking its return to SNK’s rich gaming history. The official change of the company’s name furthers their goal by expanding SNK’s brand name worldwide, and enhancing its corporate value.
