Sketch Tales is an upcoming action-RPG that lets you draw your character, as well as the weapons and gear that they use. It takes place in a hand-drawn world where drawing is a type of magic.

Of course, there are some restrictions on what you can draw. If you’re conjuring a sword, for example, you’re given a rough sword shape to stick to. But what you do within that template is up to you. So, yes, you can probably draw a … you know.

Although Sketch Tales is somewhat of a sandbox is does have a story that you can affect. It begins with a warlock stealing all of the world’s colors. It’s up you whether you want to fight against the warlock, join him, or completely ignore him.

You don’t have to brave this open world alone, either. You can invite friends in to explore, fight monsters, fight each other, or exchange your hand-drawn creations.
