Roll7 has announced a sequel to its 2D skateboarding hit OlliOllifor PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2015. This time you’ll be catching big air and grinding along the rails of Olliwood.

The idea behind OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood, as with many game sequels, is to make it bigger and better. Specifically, this means expanding the combo system, having more dynamic level design, and to “unify” the experience under a themed OlliOlli universe.

As such, Roll7 built a new engine and created a Hollywood spin-off world it calls Olliwood. So, yep, in OlliOlli 2 you’ll be skateboarding around iconic cinematic locations.

The new levels also have proper ramps, jumps, and hills so you can get much bigger air, as well as split routes so that you can try out different lines to rack up bigger combos using the new manuals, reverts, revert manuals, and grind switching.

On top of that, the game’s “Tricktionary” has been updated with complex tricks like 540 Shuvits, Anti-Casper Flips, and Darkslides. And, to make them look better when pulled off, the game has a slicker art style plus over 9,000 extra frames of animation.

OlliOlli 2 also introduces a brand new local multiplayer mode called Combo Rush. In this mode, up to four players compete to get the highest score at a single spot while wrestling against a time limit.
