Singer Eir Aoi will go on hiatus due to health reasons. It is unknown when she will make a return. According to her official website, she has been feeling sick ever since the start of 2023. Because she now needs long-term care and treatment, she will put a pause on her career for several months. [Thanks, Oricon!]
This hiatus does mean that some upcoming Eir Aoi concerts and events will not happen. Some examples include the special event for her new album Kaleidoscope, as well as her appearance in the February 12, 2023 Odaiba music festival. Eir Aoi had to cancel a total of five events, and her official website message deeply apologized to fans who were excited to meet and see her.
Eir Aoi is a popular and prolific singer who debuted in 2011 with “Memoria,” which appeared as the first ending of Fate/Zero.
