SimCity DS worldwide this summer

Electronic Arts announced that they will be bringing SimCity DS to other territories in the summer. No real surprises here and the probably reason on why it’s taking so long is that SimCity DS is going to be reworked. The Japanese version of SimCity DS has a map of Japan where you select save the city scenarios and some of the artwork has a Japanese taste to it. Also they’ve got to translate the entire thing into English. Here’s hoping that SimCity DS is cleaned up with enhanced graphics to make the city come alive. While blowing out fires is creative, you’re not going to be doing that much if you are being a good mayor. Also if you’ve been debating on importing SimCity DS, wait for the US/EU release unless you can read kanji. The menus in SimCity DS are easy to figure out since there are pictures, but the reports and feedback you get from the advisers can be difficult to decipher.
