This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

As a few of our readers have probably experienced, we’ve had issues with our mobile site before, and this is something we’ve been working on addressing this year. We’re happy to announce that the mobile version of Siliconera we’ll be using for the foreseeable future is up and running, and you can access it at: mobile.siliconera.com.

On tablets, you can swipe up and down to view articles. When you’re reading a particular article, you can swipe left and right as if you’re reading a magazine. If you want to comment, you can do that by tapping the “…” bubble.

The phone version of the site is still undergoing final testing but you can access it from the mobile.siliconera.com URL. Integrating the comments took quite a bit of effort, but we wanted people to be able to comment from their phones/tablets and did manage to find a workable solution. Commenting is supported by taking users back to the original mobile site.

Additionally, with regard to Disqus, some of our users reported recently that they’ve been having trouble logging into Disqus using their Facebook accounts. Spencer managed to figure out what was causing the glitch, and we’re happy to report that this issue has been resolved as well.
