Should You Pull on the Honkai: Star Rail Fu Xuan Banner

The Foreseen, Foreknown, Foretold Character Event Warp in Honkai: Star Rail is the debut banner for Fu Xuan and Lynx. Other characters on pick-up are Hook and Pela. So, should you pull on this banner? While it certainly depends on your current roster and needs, this is a banner that I do not recommend skipping.

In my pull guide for the first half of Version 1.3, I explained my reasoning when it comes to pulling on characters in Honkai: Star Rail. You can replace a good DPS with almost anybody. But you can’t replace a good support. Especially if you’re trying to tackle higher difficulty content. Because only some characters can revive themselves or others, and you can’t use items in the middle of combat, Preservation and Abundance characters are ridiculously important in the game.

As such, since Fu Xuan is a great Preservation character and Lynx is a really good Abundance character, you should definitely try to pull for at least one of them. While Hook isn’t anything home to write about, Pela is also an amazing Nihility unit who can help increase your overall damage with her Ultimate.

Should you pull on the Phase II Banner in Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3?

If I had to rate this banner, I’d rate it an 8/10. Fu Xuan is a fantastic Preservation character who will eliminate the need for an Abundance unit. Meanwhile, Lynx is a good Abundance character thanks to her ability to cleanse. Both of them being Quantum works well for Quantum teams that focus on Seele or Qingque.

Pela is also a great unit for anyone who either doesn’t have Silver Wolf or need a Nihility in Forgotten Hall and Silver Wolf is already on another team.

The only reason I would not suggest this banner is a 10/10 is because Hook is a victim of power creep. She’s serviceable, but almost any other DPS character is a better choice to invest in.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. The PS5 version will come out on October 11, 2023, which is also when the Foreseen, Foreknown, Foretold banner will end.
