In Persona 3 Reload, you can choose whether to close your eyes or stay awake while attending class. Here is what happens when you close your eyes in Persona 3 Reload, and which choice you should make!
What happens if you Close Your Eyes during class?
On 4/9 in Persona 3 Reload, players will be introduced to the sleeping mechanic for the first time. While attending class at Gekkoukan High School, you will get the prompt, “Should I close my eyes for a few minutes?” Although Junpei hints at what happens if you close your eyes during class, the mechanic is a bit more complicated. So which choice should you make?
If you close your eyes in Persona 3 Reload, you increase your Courage stat. If you stay awake in Persona 3 Reload, you increase your Academics social stats. So, if you decide to catch a little shut-eye during your studies, you will not get into trouble or miss out on anything important. However, below, we will explain which decision is the best one to make.
Should you Stay Awake during class in Persona 3 Reload?
Answering this is a bit tricky, as it really depends on your other choices so far in the campaign. In Persona 3 Reload, one of the game’s main goals is to max out your social stats by the end of the school year. So you essentially have 12 months to increase your Courage, Academics, and Charm through activities, jobs, and optional decisions.
Below are the stats you increase if you “close your eyes” or “stay awake” during class in Persona 3 Reload:
- Close your eyes: + 2 Courage
- Stay Awake: + 2 Academics
So, if you are deep into the story and find yourself lagging behind in your Academics, you should be choosing Stay Awake while in class. On the other end, if your Courage social stat is low, you will want to sleect Close your eyes whenever you get the prompt in class. Basically, the choice you make will depend on which stat you need to increase the most.
Persona 3 Reload is available on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S.
