Multiple locations in Japan will be giving away codes to receive a shiny Gardevoir for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to celebrate the upcoming movie Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna. [Thanks, Serebii.]

Participating retailers include Pokémon Centers, Toys ‘R Us, Bic Camera, Joshin Denki, Edion, Ito-Yokado and Yodobashi Camera. A direct download will also be available from 7-11’s 7-Spot.

The shiny Gardevoir will arrive at level 50, will possess the Synchronize ability, and know the moves Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Stored Power, and Calm Mind. Additionally, it will be holding a Gardevoirite, giving it the ability to Mega Evolve.

The code distribution period will begin on June 17th and last through July 8th. However, codes will be redeemable until August 31st. As of right now there is no word if this distribution will expand to other territories.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are available for the Nintendo 3DS.
