Shin Megami Tensei IV’s New Demons Are Made By Kamen Rider Creature Designers

Atlus revealed five new demon designs and a couple of them have ties to the Kamen Rider series. Take Asmodeus, the king of demons in the Kabbalah, as an example. Yasushi Nirasawa who worked as a creature designer on Kamen Rider Kabuto and Kamen Rider Den-O created this demon’s design.

Kouga Saburou, a legendary hero from the Suwa domain, was created by Tamotsu Shinohara who worked on Kamen Rider OOO as a creature designer and a character designer on the Super Sentai series Go-Busters.

Kyouma Aki, a creature designer from Persona 4: The Animation and monster designer on Godannar, created Kuebiko. In Shinto, Kuebiko is the god of agriculture and knowledge.

Raphael, an archangel in Judeo-Christian texts, returns in Shin Megami Tensei IV with new artwork. Onimusha and tokusatsu series Kido Keiji Jiban character designer Keita Amemiya created the Shin Megami Tensei IV design.

Omoikane, the Shinto god of wisdom, also has new artwork for Shin Megami Tensei IV. Tokyo Gore Police director Yoshihiro Nishimura made Omoikane’s new design.
