While Dante from Devil May Cry wasn’t in the original Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, he first appeared in the updated version, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniax in Japan.

The remaster will feature the return of guest character Raidou Kuzunoha from Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon as well. However, in order to get Dante, players will need to purchase the “Maniax Pack” DLC for 980 yen. The DLC will be available on the same day the game releases on October 29, 2020.

In order to play as Dante, you’ll need to start a new Maniax game from the main menu. Once you have Dante, it changes all of Raidou Kuzunoha’s appearances in scenes swapped out with Dante instead.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 29, 2020. The game will release worldwide in Spring 2021. Check out the three Demonic Compendium trailers here, here, and here.
