Shift Up CEO Shares First Eve Stellar Blade Concept Art Design

Shift Up CEO and Stellar Blade Director Kim Hyung-Tae took to social media to share the very first piece of concept art he drew for Eve. The official social media account for the company also shared it online.

Here’s the first Kim Hyung-Tae Eve design for Stellar Blade. Her name remained the same, even at this point of development, and appeared in a logo drawn there and on the character’s outfit. She also still had the same long hair kept up in a ponytail as her standard design does in the full game.

To compare, here is how Eve looks in the game now.

This comes ahead of more updates for the game. Shift Up promised a Photo Mode for Stellar Blade. A delay kept that from appearing in Summer 2024 as planned. It is expected in a future update, due to not making it into July 2024 one alongside new outfits.

We could soon end up seeing another design for Eve, as there have been hints that the Stellar Blade heroine will show up in another game. Astro Bot debuted in September 2024, and the director confirmed that there will be more VIP Bots making cameo appearances in it in the future. Due to information in the end credits of the title, it is possible she could show up there.

Stellar Blade is available for the PS5.
