Yu Suzuki shared a few words in this week’s issue of Famitsu, where developers shared a few words for their 2017 plans and more, where the series creator talked about Shenmue III’s latest. [Thanks, Hachima.]

“As for the fundamental production, we’re entering the final stages of development. I believe we’ll be able to show new videos and such after New Year’s.”
“We’re continuing with its developments to please those who are getting into Shenmue for the first time, and more importantly for all the backers.
“Starting noon on December 15, we’ll begin the highly-requested pre-orders for Shenmue III on PC.”

Shenmue III is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC.
