Another Cygames game will appear outside Japan. Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, which showed up on the Switch in Japan in November 2020, will appear worldwide thanks to XSEED Games. People can expect to see the CCG RPG both digitally and physically in Summer 2021.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle features a story based on the anime adaptation. Like Hiro Ryugasaki, players are a newcomer to Tensei Academy. You end up joining the Shadowverse club and competing in tournaments to keep the club open and become the best players around. In addition to the single-player campaign, there will be online multiplayer and a Battle Pass that lets you earn new items.
Here’s the debut trailer. It offers a better idea of how the Switch version looks by showing what the RPG elements, deck building, and card battling will look like. You can also hear some of the English voice acting in this first video.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will come to the Nintendo Switch outside Japan in Summer 2021. The original Shadowverse is available on PCs and mobile devices. If people buy the console version, they get a code for 2 alternate art cards, cosmetic items, and 10 Seer’s Globes for the original PC and mobile game. The Shadowverse anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll.
