Series Staple Shiisaa Will Return in SMT V

Like yesterday’s Chironnupu, today’s Shin Megami Tensei V demon digest focuses on a creature from Japanese mythology: Shiisaa. The Shiisaa has been a staple in Persona and Shin Megami Tensei for quite some time now, and this demon veteran will protect the protagonist and the rest of the crew as they fight to protect Japan.

The video shows that Shiisaa is capable of lowering enemy defenses with Rakunda, as well as dealing electric damage to an entire opposing party with Mazio. It can also give a ferocious bite, causing physical damage. It’s tough enough to even penetrate an Agathion’s pot. Tomorrow, Atlus will show off a demon from the Fallen race. The silhouette resembles Eligor with the horse and the horned helmet.

Shin Megami Tensei V will come out on the Nintendo Switch in Japan on November 11 and worldwide on November 12, 2021.
