Senran Kagura games all have the special locker room features that lets you take a… closer look at the girls. Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will be going the extra mile by adding an all new AR feature to the game as well. The latest video footage shares a look at these new features.
The video starts out with a look at how you’ll be dressing the Kagura ninjas up. There are options for uniforms, ninja clothing, hairstyle, uniform swimsuits, ninja swimsuits, and up to eight accessories.
Costume setups can also be set as favorites, so you won’t have to worry about trying out different mixes of items and losing what you previously had. Additionally, for the first time in the series, Senran Kagura 2 lets you change the hair colors of the girls.
We get a first look at the photo shoot mode, where you can set your favorite girls in various poses with different backgrounds. This mode also has an AR feature, so you can have the girls show up anywhere you’d like.
Afterwards, we get a look at the “touching” features with various girls as examples. At 4:42, the video shows how all the cut-scenes can also re-watched using the different costumes.
Finally, at the 5:24 mark of the video, we get to see a full mission of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson featuring Mirai and Haruka. Afterwards, they show a bonus of some more posing with two special girls.
Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson will be released on August 7, 2014 for Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
