Sega is working on an amusing music game titled Rhythm Phantom Thief R: The Inheritance of Napoleon. You play as Ralph who is also Phantom Thief R. He got his sense of rhythm from his mother and steal art hoping to find a connection to his father. He’s joined by Fondue, a clumsy yet understanding dog that Phantom Thief R found left in an alley.
Three years before the game begins, Emperor Napoleon’s coffin is stolen. Ralph, who lives in a Parisian suburb, starts to steal jewelry as his alter ego, but returns the treasures a few days later. The Louvre is displaying a Tiamat Bracelet that has a crest – the same crest on a gold coin his father left him. Ralph heads to the Louvre with his eye on the coin.
No, this isn’t a stealth game. Rhythm Phantom Thief R: The Inheritance of Napoleon is a music game where you follow button sequences to make Ralph dance.
In other situations Ralph will have to run on rooftops to escape the police and strike a pose with the touch screen.
Rhythm Phantom Thief R: The Inheritance of Napoleon is slated for release on Nintendo 3DS this winter.
