Sega Saturn Visual Novel Desire Is Getting A PS Vita And PC Remaster On April 27, 2017

Following the steps of Eve Burst Error R, C’s Ware is getting another visual novel remaster, and this time it’ll be for their 1997 title Desire, which will be available on PS Vita and PC in Japan on April 27, 2017. [Thanks, Hachima.]

 

According to information leaked from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, the visuals will be based on the original Sega Saturn version of Desire that will be digitally remastered. Again, animations for mouth and eye movements that weren’t possible in the earlier PC version will be added, along with additional scenes.

 

The game’s development is currently 30% complete. A remaster for Doukoku Soshite… was also announced, but no other information was revealed on it so far.

 

Desire: Remaster Version releases in Japan for PlayStation Vita and PC on April 27, 2017. It’ll go for 5,700 yen on PC and a first-print limited edition version for 7,800 yen. The standard version on PS Vita will go for 6,800 yen and digital for 5,800 yen, along with the first-print limited edition version for 7,800 yen as well.
