Sega is going to offer a classic games hub on Steam next week. Anyone who has at least one Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game in their game library will have access the Sega Mega Drive Classics Hub. This emulator will have an interface that looks like a bedroom and will allow someone to create save states, adjust the graphic filters, use keyboards or controllers with the game, and even offer local multiplayer.

Shortly after the announcement, Sega confirmed on Twitter that the Sega Mega Drive Classics Hub would also support the Steam Workshop. People will be able to take custom Genesis/Mega Drive roms and upload them to share with other players.

The Sega Mega Drive Classics hub will be available next week on April 28, 2016. When it launches, all Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games will be 66% off on Steam.
