Sega Europe to Make Announcement via Twitch Soon

Sega Europe will be making an announcement through the official Twitch channel “soon.” The announcement for the Twitch reveal came from the Sega Europe official Twitter page. While details are currently scarce, the tweet mentions that there will be “something special.” The broadcast will happen on January 14, 2021, though the exact time has not yet been released. The iconic Sega character Sonic the Hedgehog was shown briefly in a video included with the tweet. Other than that, no further details were shared about the upcoming broadcast. The message also mentioned that those interested in the broadcast will want to follow the official Twitch page to receive a notification once the broadcast does go live.

Sega also announced that it will localize the PSO2COMI: Phantasy Star Online 2 Comic series. This is the first time the series will be available to read internationally. However, it has been around for quite some time in Japan. As of right now, multiple episodes are currently available to read.

In other recent news, Sega will be reopening its Retro Gaming Floor in the Akihabara Building 3 arcade in Tokyo. Those who are able to visit the location will be able to access a wide range of retro games, with a list being provided.
