The dinner show will last one hour, beginning on 7pm JST (6am ET) on August 23. Mitsuyoshi, who is also lovingly nicknamed the “best singing salaryman in Japan,” will be performing live via YouTube livestream. You’ll be able to watch it via the link below:

While a full list of songs that he will sing tomorrow has not been provided by Sega, it is likely that he will perform classics such as “Let’s Go Away” from Daytona USA, “Burning Hearts ~Burning Angel~” from Burning Rangers, “Ai ga tarinai ze” from the Virtua Fighter anime, and more. Mitsuyoshi is also releasing a 30th anniversary album on August 23 to celebrate his 30th year of working at Sega, and it’ll come with a new song titled “Earth’s Wind Simulator” that will likely be performed. Apart from his vocal tracks, Takenobu Mitsuyoshi has also composed for Shenmue, the WCCF series of arcade games, various Sega-developed rhythm games, and more. He also is the voice actor behind Kage-Maru from the Virtua Fighter series.
