Sega Banking On Hero Bank Series With 3DS Sequel

It seems like all Japanese publishers are trying to replicate Level-5’s success with mixed media properties like Yo-kai Watch. Square Enix didn’t have much luck with Gyrozetter and basically gave up on the series after their Nintendo 3DS game didn’t sell.

Capcom’s Gaist Crusher didn’t sell well either, but Capcom is giving it a second shot with Gaist Crusher God which comes out in Japan this year. Sega’s mixed media property is Hero Bank, which is also getting a sequel. CoroCoro reports Hero Bank 2 is slated for release on November 27 for Nintendo 3DS.

Hero Bank follows a character who owes one billion yen and fights in a cyber sport called Hero Battle to pay it back. The series has a manga and an anime along with a 3DS game. Check out the opening move for Hero Bank here.
