The very last Sega Ages game will be available on September 24, 2020 worldwide. People will be able to stop by the Nintendo Switch eShop today to complete the collection and grab the real-time strategy game. This comes almost exactly one month after its August 27, 2020 Japanese debut.
As a real-time strategy game, Sega Ages Herzog Zwei takes people to the battlefield and has them fight to control the space. If you’re careful with your units and resources, you might just be able to take all of the outposts on the maps.
Like all Sega Ages games, this version has a number of accommodations to make it a little more comfortable to play. For example, it has save states, rather than the original’s password system. For those new to the game, you can go through a tutorial to learn how to play and choose the Helper Mode difficulty to find your footing the first few times you play. It also adds online multiplayer for two-players like many other Sega Ages installments.
In case all of this is new to you, here’s the latest round of English screenshots. You can even “meet” your instructor for the tutorial mode.
Sega Ages Herzog Zwei is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop in every region. It is $7.99.
