Metal Gear Solid HD Collection was announced as a summer release – June 28th to be precise – in Japan. This morning, Konami’s European division confirmed that Europe will see the game in summer as well, and provided a few screenshots.

As mentioned yesterday, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the PlayStation Vita will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater with upgraded visuals. It also supports “Transfarring,” which is the ability to move your save data to a PlayStation 3 to resume play there. This can be done either via a direct Wi-Fi transfer between the two systems or by uploading save data to a cloud.
