The first Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer is here. The clip offers a chance to see how elements of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 will come together in the new movie. While many characters from the series are represented in some way, the focus of this video is on Chris and Claire Redfield.
Things begin with Claire heading to Raccoon City. She’s convinced Umbrella is up to no good. She’s come to Chris to talk about it, though he initially seems dismissive. From there, we see hints of the things Umbrella is up to and ominous imagery. From there, the Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer starts showing when things go wrong. That’s also when additional characters, like Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, and William Birkin begin to appear. It also shows more settings, like ones outside Raccoon City.
Here’s the full Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City video. If people want to go in fresh, there might be some spoilers.
