The series will consist of six episodes and is set to debut on Paramount Plus on April 26, 2024 for the U.S. and Canada, and a day later for other territories including Japan..
The trailer features Knuckles (Elba) and Wade (Adam Pally), a human who he has decided to train as a warrior. The live-action story will take place chronologically after the second film, but before the events of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie. Some of them include the hat worn by knuckles in the 1996 Sonic the Hedgehog OVA series and a callback to the first movie trailer Knuckles appeared in.
