See the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Swordfighter Zelda 

While most of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom early footage showed Zelda summoning up monsters and others to fight for her, a new trailer shows a Swordfighter form for her that seems to put her in Link’s costume and let her fight with a sword and shield. The new gameplay footage shows her taking advantage of these abilities in the Still World area in Hyrule.

The new The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer with Swordfighter Zelda actually primarily focuses on the Still World rifts Zelda can enter to rescue her father and Link. Going into these shows all of the items stolen away from Hyrule. She’ll go through the wreckage and summon Echoes to reach the ruins dungeons within them. When there, she’ll get the chance to sometimes grab a sword and become Swordfighter Zelda to fight against enemies herself for a limited time. That energy is restored by further exploring the Still World. However, she can also still summon Echoes to help against bosses and enemies within that area.
