That heavy knight’s mace looks like it can do some serious damage, but that enemy might actually be helpful in Dark Souls II. FromSoftware designed the game with destructible environments and this trailer shows one of those mace swings can shatter a stone column. Dark Souls II has secret paths that can only be found if you lure an enemy, like the heavy knight, to specific spots.

Dark Souls II comes out on March 11 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC version is scheduled for release shortly after the console versions.
