The hunt is on! The Dragalia Lost Monster Hunter event, Primal Crisis, has begun in the game. At least, the first part has. It picks up with the Soaratorium’s airship from the Wycademy heading through a rift into the world of Dragalia Lost, confirming that this is a crossover with Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. To help give people a better idea of what this crossover is like, Siliconera has prepared a video of the event.

Now, being that only the first part of the Dragalia Lost Monster Hunter crossover is in effect, that is all we’re looking at in this video today. I went through all of the quests that are immediately available. I did a few summons on the Blazon banner, so everyone can see what Rathalos looks like when it unlocks. I also took a few turns on the latest banner and… well… you’ll see what happens.

Going into this event, there are a few things you should know. First, the targets for breaking areas on Raid bosses are a little smaller than usual. Be prepared to click once or twice to get the right spot. You can get Felyne Hospitality, Primal Crisis, Soaring Terrors, and A Suit of Midnight event Wyrmprints. Rathalos is the event dragon in the Blazon summon. If you clear different boss fights, like the High Rank Rathalos Assault, G double star Fatalis Clash, or get an Extra Raid done in under 90 seconds, you could earn Amateur Hunter, Full-Fledged Hunter, and Unbeatable Hunter. Also, the dragons don’t have any elemental ties, so just pick the strongest characters you have. Don’t forget to login every day too, as there’s an event that can get you stuff like a Rathalos sword!

Dragalia Lost is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The first part of the Monster Hunter Primal Crisis event is on now, and the second part will begin on February 4, 2020. The event as a whole will run until February 17, 2020.
