WaterMelon has posted a video that shows the unboxing of the first production samples of Pier Solar and the Great Architect’s physical versions for Dreamcast and PC.

As you’ll see in the video above, the samples include the European, American, and Japanese discs for the Dreamcast version, and another disc for the PC version. Each of the discs have finished art on them that WaterMelon is more than happy to shine in front of the camera.

Also shown off are the game cases, which come with a poster, as well as the instruction manual. Then at 8:50 in the video, WaterMelon actually gets around to testing the disc, which means showing off footage of Pier Solar and the Great Architect running on a Dreamcast for the first time.

These physical versions of the game are available to pre-order on WaterMelon’s website if you haven’t already got around to doing that. And if you want to know more about Pier Solar then check out Siliconera’s interview with WaterMelon.

Pier Solar and the Great Architects was originally released for Sega Genesis back in 2010. After a Kickstarter campaign, an HD version was then made for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Wii U. It’s still yet to come out on Dreamcast, Android, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita.
