See New FFXIV Story Details and Screenshots for 6.5

Back at the beginning of September 2023, Square Enix updated the Final Fantasy XIV special site for the series of 6.0 patches. Now, it happened again. This time, the 6.5 section of the FFXIV page offered more details about the story and an array of screenshots showing off elements of the update.

First, here are the two new story screenshots from FFXIV taken in patch 6.5 missions. In both of them, we see Zero with Ryne. The brief summary noted that defeating Golbez didn’t stop Zeromus, so now we’ll be heading with the First to fight back.

There are also FFXIV screenshots for the Alliance Raid, dungeon, and trials coming in this update. We’ll see The Abyssal Fracture, Lunar Subterrane, Myths of the Realm, Part 3: Thaleia, and Singularity Reactor (Unreal) in this next update, as a reminder. In one of the Thaleia screenshots we can see the Scions G’raha Tia and Krile Mayer Baldesion.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the 6.5 patch will arrive in early October 2023. Also, as a reminder, the London Fan Festival is on the way with more announcements and will happen October 21-22, 2023.
