HoYoVerse shared concept art for the Honkai Impact 3rd Songque Battlesuit Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer, which is live now in the game. The latest Typewriter Art Archives highlighted the Chinese influences, going over six options before showing the final one that was chosen.

In the case of each early piece of Honkai Impact 3rd Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer concept art, there are often multiple looks at the outfit from different approaches or focused-in images of certain details. All of them have Chinese influences, though it varies as to whether they are traditional or modern elements. There are also parts that signify the fact that she sort of fights like a mage or summoner, such as a bagua, coins, scrolls, talismans,

As a reminder, Songque is a notable character in Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2. She first showed up almost from the beginning. However, initially she was only playable as an AstralOps unit. It’s only a few patches in that the Shu got a Battlesuit.

Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the Songque Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer Battlesuit is part of a limited banner following the 7.6 update.
