While the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is now available digitally, that doesn’t mean the promotional materials have stopped. With a holiday involving eggs on the way and an eventual physical release coming up on May 19, 2020, Paramount has been sharing video clips based on details people might have missed or might not have been able to see. The latest is a Sonic movie Easter egg segment.

The Sonic movie Easter eggs video focuses on only five of the ones people can catch in the film. Most of them are rather obvious. There’s the Sonic the Hedgehog logo on Sonic’s headband and Crazy Carl’s “blue devil” drawing is the Sanic meme. What people might also appreciate is that there really aren’t any spoilers aside from one in the fifth point. This means someone could watch this video and see some teasers without worrying about major plot points.

The last Sonic movie clip offered a little insight into the making of the film. As people are probably well aware by now, the film introduced baby Sonic. However, with the redesign, people might have wondered how he was originally going to look. An unused clip showed off some of the prototypes.

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie is immediately available digitally, and it even inspired a custom Xbox One. The physical copies will arrive on May 19, 2020.
