Second Super Mario Bros Pin Set Tied to Super Mario 3D World Switch Purchases

It is a big day for Super Mario news! We saw a new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury trailer. We learned about a new system variant. Now, it turns out there will be a second Super Mario Bros 35th Anniversary pin set people can get by buying the Super Mario 3D World Switch port and completing My Nintendo missions.

The second Super Mario Bros pin set missions require you to complete 15 tasks on the Super Mario My Nintendo page. The only required one is “Purchase the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury game.” The other 14 can be any of the other tasks on the mission page, like “Try the Super Mario Music Player” or “Visit the official Super Mario website.” (This also means if you were keeping up and completing missions for the previous set of pins, you might already be close to being done.)

After Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is released, people will be able to get a code to use at the Nintendo Store for the pins. (If it goes like it did the last time, you will need to pay the shipping costs.) Your set will include six pins, which feature a group 35th anniversary shot and images of Mario from New Super Mario Bros U, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Odyssey, and Super Mario Sunshine.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will come to the Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021. The second Super Mario Bros 35th Anniversary pin set will be available through My Nintendo after that for people who buy the game and complete 14 other missions.
