First, here’s the teaser. It includes a flurry of clips from the show. We see Ranma, both as a boy and a girl, of course. His father Genma, Akane, Shampoo, and Ryoga come up as well. The one moment that appears for the longest period of time is one with Ranma perched on a fence, looking down at a short-haired Akane as she stares up at him. It’s then that we see the logo and the reveal that season 2 is in development.

Here’s the full footage:

There’s also special art to honor the fact that Ranma 1/2 is coming back. It appeared on the official social media account. It features Akane in the center, with the male and female versions of Ranma on either side of her. Ranma’s father Genma is behind them in his panda form.

In addition to the new Ranma 1/2 remake, the original anime can still be found online. It’s steaming on Hulu and Amazon. Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan, as well as physical copies of the anime.

Season 1 of the remake of Ranma 1/2 is available on Netflix now, and season 2 of the anime is in development.
