The new Scott Pilgrim vs. The World tour is about to begin. The revival of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is set for a January 14, 2021 return, according to the series’ official Facebook page.
This does mean the game is a little delayed. When Ubisoft announced it back in September 2020, it said it would be out in time for the holiday 2020 season. This pushes it out of that window by about a month. Though, since both local and online multiplayer will be available, it shouldn’t be too much trouble to still find people free to play with you. As a reminder, up to four people can play together in the beat’em up. (There are also minigames too.)
Since this is the Complete Edition of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, it also means every character will be there. The former DLC characters Knives Chau and Wallace Wells will be immediately available in-game without buying extra add-ons.
Its return means people will finally be able to get and play the game again. It was originally only available digitally for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 briefly between August 2010 and December 2014, before being delisted. People kept hope alive, especially after the comic’s creator, Bryan Lee O’Malley, said Ubisoft contacted him.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on January 14, 2021.
