It seems like Bandai Namco might be teasing the Scarlet Nexus theme song’s performers. The company took to Twitter to announce The Oral Cigarettes will be involved with the game. Specifically, the company referred to it as a “musical collaboration,” rather than mentioning the band as being responsible for a single song.
Here’s the announcement, which suggested more details “soon.”

The Oral Cigarettes has been performing since 2010. Its music has appeared in multiple animes. Most recently, “Wagamama de Gomakasanaide” was used as Revisions’ opening theme song. “Kyoran Hey Kids!!” was one of Noragami Aragoto’s opening theme songs and “Tonariau” was Sagrada Reset’s ending theme. The band also has worked on music for games before, as the Square Enix mobile game Akashic Re:cords used “Catch Me” as its theme song. (That game is no longer available.)
Scarlet Nexus is in development for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. It stars a psychokinetic hero named Yuito Sumeragi.
