The base Hello Kitty stuffed animal stands at 17 inches tall. She has multicolor fur with shades of blue, pink, and green mixed into it. Instead of a traditional bow, there is a fabric “50” over her left ear. Also, her facial features and whiskers are white, rather than the normal black and yellow. Both of the gift sets include a pink party dress with 50th anniversary iconography, hearts, and a white bow. The cupcake wristie also features the same pink color with mascot items on it. Both the dress and cupcake are only available in the two bundles.

While that item does seem to be selling out, other Sanrio stuffed animals of Hello Kitty and other characters are available. They are also on sale if purchased alongside the 50th Anniversary version of the famous cat. So if someone got the Spring Gingham Hello Kitty or one of the Halloween versions of Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, or Pompompurin, they could take 10% off the normal price.

The Build-a-Bear Sanrio 50th Anniversary Hello Kitty plush is available as of 12:20pm ET on August 29, 2024.
