Samus And Dixie Kong Join North America’s 3DS And Wii U Virtual Consoles

Two new games have been added to the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U Virtual Consoles in North America today. The handheld has received Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble, while the console gets Metroid Prime Hunters.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble originally appeared on the Super Nintendo, meaning this Virtual Console game can only be played on New Nintendo 3DS systems. Dixie Kong’s babysitting Kiddy Kong, but she also has to go through 40 levels to rescue the missing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. For $7.99, people can help her on your quest again.

 

Metroid Prime Hunters originally appeared on the Nintendo DS. It’s a first-person shooter set between Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Players follow Samus as she goes to the Alimbic solar system, learns about the Ambic race, and tries to acquire artifacts before some bounty hunters do. It costs $9.99.
