The trailer itself is actually quite long, but it reveals little about the actual story of the game. Instead, it focuses on combat and shows off new, unique finishers players will have access to. Additionally, it features a preview of the new title song for Samurai Warriors 5, titled “One Nation.” The Japanese pop group EXILE performs the song. The final trailer for Samurai Warriors 5  focuses on Nobunaga Oda, Mitsuhide Akechi, and several other characters. You can watch the trailer below.

A total of twenty-seven characters will be available for players to choose from in this installment. Additionally, they will have access to Musou Frenzy Attacks, which are the stylish finishers shown in the trailer.

Samurai Warriors 5 will release for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on June 24, 2021. It will come to both platforms and the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide on July 27, 2021.
