SNK is teasing a new Samurai Shodown collaboration, and it involves a Tencent and TiMi Studios title. Apparently, some sort of Samurai Shodown Honor of Kings crossover is coming. A character shadow over a background was shared, which is usually what SNK likes to do when it likes to tease a new DLC character for the 2019 game.
Here’s SNK’s announcement. It features two different images for this Samurai Shodown Honor of Kings collaboration. One has the fighting game’s name first and a background more suited to that game, while the other puts Tencent’s title first and alters the background. This could mean something is coming for both titles.

It is important to note that while there is an international adaptation of Honor of Kings, which is called Arena of Valor, its characters and some game elements are different.
As a reminder, the last Samurai Shodown DLC character was announced in June during NGPX 2020. For Honor’s The Warden was added to the game on June 24, 2020.
Samurai Shodown is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Honor of Kings is available in China on Android and Apple iOS devices.
