Move over Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing! Samurai & Dragons, a free to play Vita game from Sega, has even more Sega characters and guests like Hatsune Miku.
A Samurai & Dragons: Deluxe Package set for release on November 29 will include rare Sonic, Bayonetta, Kazuma Kiryu, and Akira Yuki cards plus CP tickets (that’s in game money).
Also later this year, Samurai & Dragons will get more cards from these Sega titles:
– Vanquish
– Anarchy Reigns
– Resonance of Fate
– Nightshade
– Sakatsuku series
– Sakura Taisen series
– Jet Set Radio series
– Super Monkey Ball series
– Space Channel 5 series
– NiGHTS
– Panzer Dragoon series
– Virtua Fighter series
– Sonic series
– Yakuza series
– Bayonetta
– Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity
– Shenmue
Samurai & Dragons will also get cards from Sega’s popular card arcade game Sangokushi Taisen and a Hatsune Miku card players can buy for 300 CP.
Sega also hired Hatsune Miku illustrator KEI to turn their consoles into characters.
You’ll be able to play the game with girl versions of the SG-1000, SC-3000, SG-1000II, Sega Mark II, Sega Master System, Genesis, Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega Genesis 2 (1993 version), Sega CD 2 (side attachment), Sega Saturn, 32X, and of course the Dreamcast.
There are, believe it or not, even more crossovers for Samurai & Dragons. Login the game between August 29 and September 12 to get a pack of Tokyo Jungle cards. Yes, the pomeranian is in the game. If you own a WiFi & 3G Vita you can get a pack of Toro cards when you update your 3G plan with NTT DoCoMo. Wow, Samurai & Dragons is close to becoming Sega’s Project X Zone.
Samurai & Dragons will also get a new class, Blade Enchantress, on September 28. Players who have a Debris Tower will get a pack of Shining Blade and Valkyrie Chronicles cards with various female characters in bikinis.
