With only a few days of the year remaining, SAFE HAVN STUDIO announced that SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim will be delayed from 2024 to the first half of 2025. The studio will release more information about a specific release date in the near future.
The announcement of the delay appeared on publisher’s Hyper Real X (formerly Twitter) official account, and was also shared on the game’s Steam page translated in English. In it, the developers at SAFE HAVN STUDIO explained that they made the decision to delay the title in order to improve the quality of the game. The developers also apologized for the delay and thanked players for their support during the latest Steam Next Fest.
SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim is a horror adventure game in which the player and other miniature-sized people are trapped in the room of a terrifying giant woman. The gameplay is divided between daytime sections in which players explore the stories of the people trapped in the room alongside them, and nighttime sections where Saeko talks with the protagonist and selecting the wrong choices could lead to fatal consequences.
The game was originally announced in 2023 and showcased at Tokyo Game Show the same year. A demo for SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim appeared on Steam Next Fest during both 2023 and most recently in October 2024.
SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim has been delayed from its original 2024 release window and will release sometime in the first half of 2025 for PC.
