The RTX at Home Animation Festival is happening, and the RWBY Panel was held on September 16, 2020. In addition to talking to the people behind the show and looking at Volume 8, there were game and merchandise announcements. First is that a RWBY Wayforward and Arc System Works game is on the way. Second is that there will be four RWBY Nendoroids from Good Smile Company.

Since the Nendoroids actually have one up for pre-orders immediately, let’s start there. All four of the heroines will get a figure, with Ruby Rose arriving first in July 2021. She’ll have two different face plates and come with Crescent Rose in both rifle and scythe modes. There will be a Petal Burst effect as well. She’s $49.99 at the Good Smile Company store and will be available to pre-order until November 11, 2020.

The image onscreen confirmed that Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long will get their own figures too. There’s no release date or prototype images for the three of them.

As for the RWBY Wayforward game, we don’t really know too much yet. Rooster Teeth and Arc Systems Works’ logos both also appeared on the announcement for the 2021 release. Also, a tweet from the official RWBY account later confirmed it would appear on consoles and PCs.

In a fun bit of trivia, the panel also resulted in the RWBY heroines’ birthdays being revealed. Blake was born on January 19th, Ruby on October 31st, Weiss on May 15th, and Yang on July 28th.

The RWBY Nendoroids will start appearing in 2021, with Ruby Rose appearing as the first in the line. The RWBY Wayforward and Arc System Works game will also appear on unspecified consoles and PCs in 2021.
