Rune Factory 5 Sales

Rune Factory 5 Sales Top 500,000 Units Worldwide

Rune Factory 5 sales have officially topped 500,000 units worldwide according to a financial report from Marvelous. This number includes digital and physical copies of the game. However, this only accounts for sales as of the end of March 2022. Marvelous states that the game performed well and that sales for the Rune Factory 5 were strong. Due to this, Marvelous has seen an increase in sales and profit for its game-related business.

Rune Factory 5 is a continuation of the Rune Factory series. It has similar gameplay features to previous titles and involves the player character courting various bachelors and bachelorettes while strengthening their general relationship with their neighbors. Players can participate in cultivating vegetables on their farm, engage in animal husbandry, and even explore dungeons.

And, as always players can pick a partner of their choosing. A total of twelve characters are available to choose from, each with their own distinct likes and dislikes. However, Rune Factory 5 is the first entry in the series to offer same-sex marriages. XSEED announced in September 2021 that this feature would be available to players. While not initially part of the Japanese release, it was later added in through a patch.

Rune Factory 5 is available for Nintendo Switch.
